What is Tixel?

Tixel is an energy-based device that uses radiant heat to address skin concerns including fine lines, skin laxity, and certain textural irregularities. It can be used on the face, including the eyelid area, and on various body areas.
How does Tixel work?
Tixel uses controlled heat and pressure — rather than laser, light, or plasma — to stimulate collagen production and support dermal remodelling.
Dermal remodelling refers to a process that targets the dermis, the living middle layer of the skin, to support skin health and address certain concerns from within the skin structure. Individual results will vary, and your clinician will discuss what outcomes may be realistic for your circumstances during consultation.
What does it treat?

- Fine lines and wrinkles: Tixel uses thermal energy to support collagen production, which may help treat the the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time.
- Concerns around the eye area: Tixel can be used in the delicate area around the eyes to address creases and mild skin laxity.
- Acne scarring: Tixel may support the skin’s remodelling process in areas affected by acne scarring.
- Rosacea: Tixel may help address the appearance of rosacea-related redness and textural changes.consultation is required to assess suitability.
- Uneven skin texture or tone: Tixel may support skin renewal by encouraging cell turnover, which can contribute to changes in texture and tone in some patients.
What is the downtime?
The skin will be warm and red for a few hours after the treatment. Eyelid treatment leaves the lids slightly swollen for 2-3 days, but makeup can be applied after 24 hours. The redness has generally settled by day 3 at which time the skin becomes dry. This can last up to a week after treatment.
What is the recommended treatment plan?
The initial treatment regimen is 3 sessions, 6 weeks apart. We advise a top-up treatment every 12 months.
The recommended plan will be discussed and tailored to your individual circumstances during consultation.
What is the cost?
Pricing depends on the treatment area. For a personalised treatment plan, we recommend to book in a comprehensive consultation with our team.
