For Facial Flushing, Vascularity and Pigmentation CoolView Laser

CoolView Laser treatment can be performed on the face, neck décolletage or hands. It is suitable on these areas where there is skin redness, tiny veins (telangiectasia) and brown spots (pigmentation).

When the pulse is delivered, you will feel a mild pinching or stinging sensation. Gel is applied to the skin prior to the treatment to cool the skin. Topical numbing gel is generally not required.

The treatment time will depend on the area to be treated, however most treatments will take 15 to 30 minutes to complete.

One to three treatments are generally required. Additional treatments may be required for heavily sun damaged skin.

Immediately after treatment the skin will appear pink – this will generally resolve over the following hour. Brown spots or pigmentation may appear slightly darker and then flake off and fade. Make-up can be applied afterwards to cover any redness.

The most important aspect of aftercare is using daily sunscreen. This is particularly important for the first month, but it should ideally be continued long-term to prevent developing further sun damage.
